Rockstar Games has remained tight-lipped about many details surrounding the highly anticipated GTA 6, but that hasn’t stopped fans from speculating.
One of the biggest questions on players’ minds is: who are voicing the game’s two protagonists, Lucia and Jason?
A popular Youtuber LegacyKillaHD, who has over 700k subscribers and a reputation for reliable GTA leaks, claims to know the identities of the Lucia and Jason voice actors.
In a recent video, he states that Manni L. Perez has been cast as Lucia, while Dylan Rourke will portray Jason.
Who is Manni L. Perez?
The name Manni L. Perez may not ring a bell for most gamers, but her voice could be familiar to GTA fans.
Perez has previously voiced minor characters in GTA Online (as Blackjack Dealer in 2019).
Beyond the GTA franchise, she has had roles in TV shows like Jessica Jones, Law & Order, Blindspot, and more.
The first instance of her name being linked to Lucia occurred last month when the GTA subreddit community asserted that her physical features bore a resemblance to the main protagonist in GTA 6.
Perez also fits the profile of a lesser-known actor that Rockstar typically targets for voice work.
Who is Dylan Rourke?
As for Lucia’s counterpart Jason, the relatively unknown Dylan Rourke is supposedly bringing him to life.
Rourke’s acting credits are limited to small roles like a one-episode appearance on Modern Family and Grey’s Anatomy.
Similar to Perez, he do not have much of experience in video games, which is consistent with Rockstar’s casting preferences.
How Reliable Are These Rumors?
It’s important to take these reports with a grain of salt, as LegacyKillaHD has been both accurate and inaccurate with past leaks and rumors.
Previously, he was accurate about the Red Dead Redemption 2 PC version, Bully 2 developments, next-gen GTA V, and many GTA Online updates.
However, many of his scoops also failed, such as the GTA VI release date, Red Dead Redemption 2 story DLC, and GTA V single-player DLC.
Insiders can sometimes receive faulty information from sources, and details can also change over the course of game development.
However, if this casting information is correct, it’s unlikely Rockstar would recast the roles at this stage.
