How Do Teams Qualify for Valorant Champions 2024?

For the 2024 Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) season, Riot Games has reintroduced the championship point system as the new qualification standard.

This system determines which teams will secure their spots at the Valorant World Championship in Seoul.

Here’s how the championship point system works:

• 1 point per match win in League Stage 1 and Stage 2
• 3 points for winning Stage Playoff events
• 3 points for winning Kickoff tournaments
• 3 points for winning Masters events like Madrid and Shanghai

The Road to Valorant Champions 2024:

• League Kickoff Events: All teams will compete in their respective region’s Kickoff events, with the winner of each region (Pacific, Americas, EMEA, China) securing 3 championship points.
• Masters Madrid: The top-performing teams from the Kickoff events will advance to Masters Madrid, the first international LAN event of the season, where they will compete for additional championship points.
• Stage 1: After Masters Madrid, teams will return to regional league play for Stage 1, vying for more championship points and a chance to qualify for Masters Shanghai.
• Masters Shanghai: The top 3 teams from each region in Stage 1 events will compete at Masters Shanghai, the second international LAN event of the season, earning championship points to secure their spots for Valorant Champions 2024.
• Stage 2: The remaining teams will enter Stage 2, where they will compete to secure one of the limited spots for the Valorant World Championship in Seoul.
• Valorant Champions 2024: The top 3 teams from each region in Stage 2 will advance to the Valorant Champions 2024 tournament in Seoul, Korea, where they will battle it out to become the Valorant World champions.
