After successfully hosting the Esports Revolution Showdown, Skyesports, a leading esports organizer in India, is gearing up for another esports tournament for the game – THE FINALS.
This event, titled Online Community Cup, is an open-for-all tournament with a $10,000 prize pool, offering every player in India the opportunity to turn professional.

The tournament will showcase the 5v5 Terminal Attack mode, the same mode used in THE FINALS Esports Revolution Showdown held last week in Chennai, where Team Mortal emerged victorious over Team Scout in the finals to secure the championship title and share in $5000 prize pool.
Shiva Nandy, the CEO of Skyesports, is really excited about this event. He says it’s a great opportunity to support grassroots-level esports in India.
“After wrapping up THE FINALS Esports Revolution Showdown LAN event in Chennai, we have been bringing constant showdowns along with cafe events across the country. The community, however, has been demanding an open-for-all esports tournament, where they can showcase their skills. This is where THE FINALS Online Community Cup comes in. This is the first open tournament for THE FINALS in India and we are thrilled to announce a prize pool of $10,000 to support grassroots-level esports.”
All registered teams will compete in online group stages and playoffs where the qualifying teams will get a chance to compete with top teams. This tournament could be a big deal for players looking to get noticed by esports organizations.

For those who don’t know, THE FINALS is a free-to-play first-person shooter that came out in December 2023. It’s available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. The game has cool features like destructible environments and different soldier classes.
