The Brawl Stars World Finals 2024 prize pool has hit $1 million, thanks to the overwhelming support of fans through the Fang Skin Bundle.
What Is the Fang Skin Bundle?
The Fang Skin Bundle was released just a few days ago as a special item for the Brawl Stars World Finals 2024.
It allows players to unlock “The Fans’ Fang” skin, along with exclusive profile icons and emojis, priced at around $10 (depending on the region).
Inspired by Dota 2’s battle pass prize pool model, Supercell, the game’s developer, pledged that the first $1 million collected through this bundle would directly support the World Finals prize pool. This goal has now been achieved, demonstrating the community’s support for competitive Brawl Stars.
With the addition of the World Finals prize money, the total prize pool for the Brawl Stars esports “circuit” in 2024 now stands at an impressive $2 million.
How Does This Compare to Previous Years?
The World Finals of Brawl Stars has seen various prize pool systems over the years:
- 2022: $500,000 base prize pool, increased to $1 million through crowdfunding
- 2023: $750,000 fixed prize pool, without crowdfunding
- 2024: $1 million prize pool, entirely crowdfunded by the community
This year’s approach represents a significant shift, with the entire prize pool being contributed by players.
Schedule of Brawl Stars World Finals 2024
The Brawl Stars World Finals 2024 is scheduled for November 1-3 at the Helsinki Exhibition and Convention Center in Finland.
This event is part of the larger “Super Fest 2024”, which will also feature the Clash of Clans World Championship Finals and Clash Royale League World Finals.
It’s a historic moment, marking the first time all three tournaments will be held consecutively.
