Renowned esports tournament organizer BLAST has announced its foray into the mobile gaming world with BLAST Bash.
BLAST Bash is an online event featuring three popular mobile games from Supercell: Clash of Clans, Clash Royale, and Brawl Stars.
For these three games, the organizer will host three distinct competitions with its own unique format and prize pool:
BLAST Brawl 2024

Prize pools: $15,000 (~£11,300) for the winner of each region
Format:
- Open qualifiers for teams from Europe, the Middle East, Africa (EMEA), and North America (NA)
- Top teams advance to an eight-team single-elimination showdown in their respective regions
BLAST Royale 2024
Schedule: October 12th-13th
Prize pools: $15,000
Format:
- Eight invited teams
- Double-elimination tournament format
BLAST Clash 2024

Prize pools: $15,000
Format:
- Open qualifiers
- Final eight teams compete in a single-elimination bracket
BLAST’s Expansion Strategy?
BLAST Bash represents the company’s first venture into mobile esports, but it’s far from their only expansion. Recently, BLAST has:
- Revamped its CS2 circuit to align with Valve Rulebook
- Expanded into Dota 2, Fortnite, Rocket League, TopSpin 2K25
While Supercell’s esports scene might not be as mainstream as Counter-Strike or Dota 2, it’s far from insignificant. The Brawl Stars World Finals, for instance, has been an annual event since 2019. The 2024 edition is set to take place in Helsinki, Finland this November, highlighting the growing popularity and potential of mobile esports.
