The Snapdragon Pro Series Season 6 concluded with a spectacular performance by Team GodLike, who emerged as the top team of the COD Mobile tournament in India and clinched the top prize of ₹10 lakh.
The event, held from October 11 to November 17, 2024, at the HITEX Exhibition Centre in Hyderabad, saw Team GodLike dominate the competition without losing a single match.
The tournament was a highlight of DreamHack India 2024, the country’s premier gaming festival, which celebrated its fifth anniversary. Organized by NODWIN Gaming, the event promised an exciting weekend filled with esports, gaming, cosplay, and pop culture festivities.
Group Stage and Playoffs
The tournament featured a total prize pool of ₹24 lakh (~ $28,410 USD), with six teams competing this weekend in the Challenge Finals. The finals were divided into two phases: the Group Stage and the Playoffs. Team GodLike showcased their dominance from the beginning, winning all their matches in Group B and advancing to the Playoffs.
In the Playoffs, Team GodLike continued their winning streak by defeating Vibrance Esports in their first match. They then faced XLR8 in the Upper Bracket Finals and secured a spot in the Grand Finals with a 3-0 victory. XLR8, after defeating Anthem in the Lower Bracket Final, met Team GodLike again in the Grand Finals but were unable to overcome their formidable opponents, losing 4-0.
It should be noted that all matches are best-of-five series, with the exception of the Grand Final, which is a best-of-seven series.
Impressive Leadership and Performance
Led by their captain, Learn, Team GodLike made a remarkable comeback after a mediocre run in the COD Mobile World Championship 2024. Their performance in the Snapdragon Pro Series was nothing short of extraordinary, as they clinched the title and the winning prize of ₹10 lakh.
Prize Distribution
The prize pool was distributed among the top teams as follows:
- 1st Place: ₹1,080,000 INR ($12,784.43) – GodLike
- 2nd Place: ₹580,000 INR ($6,865.71) – XLR8
- 3rd Place: ₹350,000 INR ($4,143.10) – Anthem
- 4th Place: ₹150,000 INR ($1,775.62) – Vibrance Esports
- 5th-6th Place: ₹90,000 INR ($1,065.37) – Team NS, Team Felines
- 7th-8th Place: ₹20,000 INR ($236.75) – Galaxia Five, 5AM
- 9th-10th Place: ₹10,000 INR ($118.37) – Team Strike, Panda Express
Team GodLike’s victory in the Snapdragon Pro Series Season 6 is a testament to their skill, strategy, and determination. Their flawless performance throughout the tournament has solidified their reputation as one of the top teams in the COD Mobile esports scene.
