According to the latest rumors, Rockstar Games may be working with a narrative consultancy firm called Sweet Baby Inc. for the upcoming GTA 6 – and some fans are concerned the game could end up being too ‘woke’.
Why Sweet Baby Inc. Is So Controversial?
Sweet Baby Inc. is a narrative development and consultation studio that works for more inclusive and diverse representation – Black or LGBTQ+ – in video games.
The company has worked on major titles like Spider-Man 2, God of War Ragnarok, and Alan Wake 2 in the past.
Diversity is necessary but the company has faced several backlash from online communities which claim that the company makes video games worse by promoting unnecessary diversity.
Recently it came into the limelight again because of the “Sweet Baby Inc Detected” Steam page that alleges that the company has an overarching influence on the games it works on.
Are They Really Involved with GTA 6?
A Reddit post allegedly showed Rockstar’s logo under Sweet Baby Inc.’s clients section, sparking speculation about the company’s involvement in GTA 6.

This has led some gamers to quickly move to social media to express their concern about it.
Some Redditors believe that Sweet Baby Inc.’s focus on inclusivity and diversity could compromise the satirical and controversial nature of the GTA series.
However, this image appears to have been edited/fake.
While their website doesn’t list Rockstar as a client, it does show 2K Games – the company owned by Take-Two Interactive.
GTA 6 takes place in the modern-day city of Vice City and features the first female protagonist named Julia, along with many other characters yet to be revealed.
It remains to be seen whether or not Sweet Baby Inc. will involved in this gaming scene.
