GodLike Esports Wins Pokémon UNITE ACL 2025 India League, Secures Spot in Global Finals

GodLike Esports won the Pokémon UNITE ACL 2025 India League after a stellar performance in the Playoffs. The team defeated top teams like S8UL, Revenant XSpark, and Global Esports in seven back-to-back matches on January 26, 2025, to secure the championship title.

By winning the Indian League, GodLike Esports will represent India at the Pokémon UNITE ACL Finals in Japan on March 29 and 30, 2025. They will compete against top teams from across Asia, aiming to showcase Indian talent on the global stage.

Tournament Details

The Pokémon UNITE ACL 2025 India League, organized by Skyesports, a leading esports organization in India, featured the top 8 Indian teams. The tournament is divided into a Group Stage followed by intense Playoffs spanning seven match days.

GodLike Esports initially struggled in a Group Stage and finished in seventh place, forcing them to start the Playoffs in Round 7. However, in the finale, the team showed exceptional resilience by defeating every top-ranked team in seven back-to-back matches to clinch the championship.

The tournament’s total prize pool was $40,000, with GodLike Esports taking home $16,000 as champions.

Another Chance for Aspiring Indian Teams

Indian teams still have one more chance to qualify for the global Finals through the Pokémon UNITE Winter Tournament.

Unlike the India League which was only for top teams, the Winter Tournament is open for all with registrations open until January 29, 2025.

The tournament includes qualifiers, a group stage, and Playoffs on February 9, offering the final opportunity for one more Indian team to join GodLike Esports in Japan. More information is available at Skyesports.
