With the release of Chapter 5 Season 2, players can now embody some of the most iconic characters from Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy.
What’s Included in the Guardians of the Galaxy Pack?
Recent LEGO Fortnite v29.10 updates (on March 26th) had already dropped the hint about the crossover but now Epic has officially confirmed it.
The Guardians of the Galaxy Pack is a paid bundle that offers a collection of cosmetic items inspired by the three beloved Marvel characters:
Drax
- Drax Outfit (with LEGO Style)
- Drax’s Blades harvesting tool
- Drax’s Blades back bling
Groot
- Young Adult Groot in his bulky, athletic form
- Flora Colossus Fist harvesting tool
- Groot’s Gamepad back bling
Mantis
- Mantis with her signature antennas that periodically flicker
- Insectoid Claws harvesting tool
- Lil Abilisk back bling

How Much Does It Cost?
The Guardians of the Galaxy Pack is priced at $28.99 and is now (March 28th) available across all platforms.
Notably, these items are available as a real-money bundle rather than purchasable with V-Bucks, Fortnite’s in-game currency.
However, it’s important to note that this bundle is a limited-time offer, leaving the Fortnite Item Shop on June 3rd, 2024.
With 10 cosmetic items, including 3 outfits, 3 back blings, 3 pickaxes, and 2 emotes, the Guardians of the Galaxy Pack offers a substantial amount of content for both Marvel fans and Fortnite players.
Notably, Fortnite has previously featured a Groot skin obtainable through a battle pass.
The Bigger Picture: Epic Games’ Partnership with Disney
The return of Marvel characters to Fortnite is likely a welcome surprise for fans. However, this crossover represents a larger strategic partnership between Epic Games and Disney.
In February, the two entertainment giants announced a groundbreaking $1.5 billion deal, with Disney acquiring an equity stake in Epic Games.
Together, they aim to create new games and metaverse accessible from within the Fortnite universe, potentially merging Marvel, Star Wars, and Pixar properties.
