D1 Mobile Mania 2024: Bangladesh’s Biggest Mobile Esports Tournament Crowns New Champions

The world of esports is evolving rapidly, and Bangladesh is no exception.

The recent D1 Mobile Mania 2024, hosted by local esports organization Discovery One, has set a new benchmark for mobile gaming tournaments in the country.

This groundbreaking event was held on July 12 at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB), billed as the “biggest mobile esports tournament in Bangladesh.”

With Airtel as the title sponsor, the event boasted an impressive prize pool of BDT 30 lakh, attracting over 1,700 local esports players and more than 250 teams.

The tournament featured three popular mobile games – Call Of Duty: Mobile (CODM), Mobile Legends Bang Bang (MLBB), and eFootball 2024, each bringing a unique flavor to the competition.

In CODM competition 12 top teams from Bangladesh battled it out in the final.

Team 1HP proved their mettle, clinching the championship and walking away with a cool BDT 4 lakh.

Nahid Hassan Ratul, aka Snorlax, showcased exceptional skills to earn the MVP title and an additional BDT 60,000.

LBD Reborn put up a valiant fight, securing the runner-up spot and BDT 2 lakh in prize money.




Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Finals

In the MLBB event, we saw an intense best-of-three match series in the finals.

Team Comfort Crowd lived up to their name, dominating the series with a 2-0 victory over Kingsman.

This impressive performance earned them the top prize of BDT 5 lakhRabbi Descargar (Laars) from Comfort Crowd stood out as the finals MVP, pocketing an extra BDT 60,000.

Kingsman’s efforts were rewarded with the runner-up prize of BDT 2.5 lakh.




eFootball 2024

The eFootball 2024 tournament brought a different flavor to D1 Mobile Mania with Ryan Ismail emerging as the champion, showcasing his skills with a decisive 5-1 aggregate victory in the two-match final series.

His stellar performance earned him BDT 3 lakh.

Interestingly, the runner-up, Abdullah Bin Jahangir, walked away with BDT 1.5 lakh and an additional BDT 50,000 for being named the tournament’s MVP.
