Off The Grid, an upcoming cyberpunk battle royale game, secured multiple prestigious victories, including the coveted Game of the Year award at The 2024 Gam3 Award.
The Gam3 Awards, now in its third year, has become the leading platform for recognizing excellence in Web3 gaming. This year’s event, conducted in Manila in collaboration with Yield Guild Games (YGG), featured a prize pool of $5 million for the awardees (2.5x of last year).
The award selection is based on expert and community voting. A panel of over 70 judges from major companies like Amazon, Google, Samsung, and Ubisoft contributed 90% of the voting weight for most categories. The remaining 10% came from community votes. However, certain categories like People’s Choice and Best Content Creator were entirely decided by community voting, while the Games’ Choice award was determined by game studios voting for their peers.
