What New Games Are Coming to Xbox Game Pass in April 2024?

Xbox Game Pass is Microsoft’s wildly popular gaming subscription service, giving members access to a rotating library of 100+ games to download and play. 

But what new titles are being added in April that you should get excited about?

Ark: Survival Ascended – April 1

A reimagined version of the 2015 survival game Ark: Survival Evolved, Ark: Survival Ascended launched in early access in late 2023 utilizing Unreal Engine 5. 

Form tribes, tame and breed dinosaurs, explore a primeval world, craft, build bases, and fight for dominance in this action-adventure survival experience. 

Ark: Survival Ascended joins Xbox Game Pass on April 1 for Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S.

F1 23 EA Play – April 2

Test your racing skills in the latest official Formula 1 racing game from EA Sports. 

F1 23 lets you create your dream team and compete in the 2023 FIA Formula One World Championship season through Xbox Cloud Gaming via the EA Play library starting April 2.

Superhot: Mind Control Delete – April 2

The groundbreaking Superhot shooter franchise returns with Mind Control Delete, offering more story, weapons, enemies, and signature time-only-moves-when-you-move gameplay. 

Amass new skills, face new threats from all angles, and shoot, slice, and explode through challenging encounters as you get closer to the truth you crave.

LEGO 2K Drive (Cloud and console) – April 3 

Released on May 19, 2023, Lego 2K Drive is a LEGO racing adventure developed by Visual Concepts Austin and published by 2K. 

It is available for Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Windows, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and now on Game Pass for cloud and console.

Lil Gator Game (Cloud, console, and PC) – April 4

Released in 2022, Lil Gator Game is a 3D platform game developed by MegaWobble and published by Playtonic Games. 

The player takes the role of cute Lil Gator who spends their time trying to get their older sister’s attention. 

It is available on PC and Nintendo Switch, PS4/PS5, Xbox One. and Xbox Series X/S and from April 4 on Game Pass for Cloud, console, and PC.

EA Sports PGA Tour (Cloud, PC, Xbox Series X|S) EA Play – April 4 

EA Sports PGA Tour is a golf video game coming to The Play List with PC Game Pass and Ultimate via EA Play from April 4. 

It is developed by EA Tiburon and published by EA Sports and available on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S. 

Turbo Golf Racing: Full Release on April 4

Turbo Golf Racing has been available in Game Preview since 2022, but it’s finally gearing up for its full 1.0 release on April 4th. 

This update will bring a brand-new eight-player golf mode, ten additional levels, and more content to keep you entertained.

Kona (Cloud and console) – April 9

Released in 2021, the Frigid survival game KONA, previously on PS4/PS5 and PSVR, is now coming to game pass for Cloud and console from April 9th.

Set in Northern Canada in 1970, you step into a detective’s shoes to explore an eerie village ravaged by a strange blizzard, investigate surreal events, and battle the elements to survive this chilling, mystery-filled tale.

Botany Manor: Relaxing Puzzles on April 9

Launching on April 9th, this beautiful exploration puzzle game is set in a plant-filled world, promising a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. 

Shadow of the Tomb Raider Definitive Edition (Cloud, console and PC) – April 11

Shadow of the Tomb Raider is the 2018 action-adventure game sequel to Rise of the Tomb Raider and the 12th main entry in the Tomb Raider series.

Available on Game Pass day one, Harold Halibut is a handmade narrative game about friendship and life aboard a massive spaceship submerged in an alien ocean. 

Developed by Slow Bros, you’ll explore a vibrant retro-future world as Harold on his quest to find the meaning of “home.”

Orcs Must Die! 3 (PC, Xbox, Xbox Cloud) – April 17

Orcs Must Die! is a fantasy third-person shooter franchise by Robot Entertainment, with tower defense gameplay.

The latest Orcs Must Die! 3 was initially a Google Stadia exclusive before making its way to other platforms. 

It is now also available on Xbox Game Pass for both console and PC owners,

The game has received positive reviews on Steam and has a single-player campaign of around 12 hours, as well as a two-player co-op multiplayer mode.

EA Sports NHL 24 (Console) – April 18

NHL 24 arrives on Xbox Game Pass and EA Play this week, offering players the latest hockey video game experience with officially licensed teams and rosters. 

You can play as your favorite teams while we await the playoffs, and the game offers a variety of modes like Franchise, Ultimate Team, and World of Chel.

The game also supported Cross-play for faster matchmaking and a larger player pool.

There are solo modes for those who prefer to play alone. 

The NHL playoffs are set to begin soon, so playing NHL 24 will allow players to experience the latest hockey action as the top 16 of 32 teams battle for the Stanley Cup.

Another Crab’s Treasure is a colorful Soulslike game about a hermit crab named Kril. 

Set to launch on April 25th, you’ll embark on a quest to reclaim your repossessed shell, donning various trash as armor to defend against the ocean’s many enemies. 

Manor Lords: Strategy Game on April 26th (Game Preview)

Manor Lords is a strategy game that’s all about building up from a humble village to a thriving city. 

With a focus on historical accuracy, this title promises to impact gameplay in unique ways. 

Manor Lords will launch into Game Preview for PC Game Pass on April 26th, with an Xbox release planned for a later date.

Have a Nice Death (Cloud, Console, PC) – April 30

Have a Nice Death is a 2023 action game by Magic Design Studios and published by Gearbox. 

Players control Death as he fights against unruly subordinates. 

It’s a side-scrolling platform game with roguelite elements such as permadeath and procedural generation of levels. 

Players start with a scythe as a weapon and can unlock abilities that persist through deaths. 

It was released for Windows, Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox in 2023 and now releasing on Game Pass for cloud, console, and PC owners.
