Portal, a Web3 gaming platform, has announced an exciting global Esports tournament – ‘Portal DOTA2 World Invitationals‘ in collaboration with one of the leading esports DOTA2.

Starting from March 28 to 31, this world-class Esports event will span multiple countries and feature 8 top-tier Esports teams battling for a substantial prize pool of $100,000

The teams participating in the tournament will be announced through Portal’s Twitter account soon. 

Esports enthusiasts from all around the world can watch this thrilling competition across major platforms, including YouTube and Twitch.


Prize Money Distributions 

The tournament offers a total of $100,000 prize pool 

Breakdown of prize money:

  • 1st Place: $50,000
  • 2nd Place: $25,000
  • 3rd Place: $10,000
  • 4th Place: $7,000
  • 5th-6th Place: $4,000 each
  • 7th-8th Place: $2,500 each

Tournament Format

The tournament follows a double-elimination format, eight teams will compete in a series of rounds in the Upper and Lower baskets to reach the finale.

As part of this competition, Portal is introducing exclusive ‘Portal Chests’ featuring DOTA2 in-game items that can be redeemed by DOTA2 players.
