VALORANT Game Changers SEA 2024

What’s Different About the Format?

This year, the entire Pacific region will be unified under one umbrella called “Pacific.” Key changes include:

  • Southeast Asia (SEA) and South Asia will have independent circuits feeding into the Pacific stage.
  • Japan and Korea are expected to fall under the Pacific umbrella, similar to the main VCT circuit, rather than having a distinct East Asia circuit.
  • The former VCT Game Changers APAC has been rebranded as SEA (Southeast Asia)

More details about the Pacific circuit will be announced as the qualifying dates for each region approach.

SEA Stage 1

The SEA Stage 1 qualifiers kick off end of march with an exciting Swiss Open stage:

  • March 26-29: Best-of-three Swiss Open
  • Top 8 teams advance to Playoffs (April 1-5)
  • $10,000 prize pool in Playoffs
  • Double-elimination best-of-three bracket
  • Grand Final will be Bo5 where Top 4 teams get direct seeding into Stage 2 Groups

It’s a high-stakes start to the season! Who will claim those coveted Stage 2 spots?

SEA Stage 2

VALORANT Game Changers SEA Stage 2 (July-September) will be even bigger:

  • July 4-7: Open Qualifier to seed 12 teams into Groups
  • 4 groups of 4 teams in best-of-three round robin
  • Top 2 teams from each group make Playoffs
  • Double-elimination best-of-three Playoff bracket
  • $10,000 prize pool
  • Best of five finals
  • 3 Pacific qualifier spots on the line!

The stakes just keep getting higher. Qualifying for Pacific could lead to the Game Changers World Championship!
