2024 is shaping up to be an exciting year for PUBG esports fans in North and South America.
Two flagship regional tournaments, PUBG Americas Series 3 and 4 (PAS3 and PAS4), will kick off in March and later this year respectively.
The winning teams in the region will not only get a chance to qualify for global PUBG events (PUBG Nations Cup) but also for the first Esports World Cup, Riyadh.
PAS3 Gets a Revamp
The PUBG Americas Series will return in March with a reimagined format for the Regional Playoffs.
Taking place over two weekends, PAS3 Playoffs will feature a three-day Group Stage and a two-day Last Chance Qualifier before the Grand Finals.
The refreshed structure raises the stakes, as the Grand Finals represent the best opportunity for teams to claim $50,000 prize money and those all-important PGC qualification points.
- Open Qualifiers: March 2nd – 10th
- Regional Playoffs: March 15th – 24th
- Grand Finals: April 5th – 7th
Teams aiming for glory can register for the PAS3 Open Qualifiers starting February 15th via pas.pubgesports.com.
The PAS4 schedule is yet to be announced.
Global Dreams Up for Grabs
The Top3 teams from the PAS3 and PAS4 Grand Finals will qualify directly to the next two PUBG Global Series (PGS) events.
With $300,000 on the line at each PGS tournament, this represents a major opportunity for American teams to compete against the best from around the world.
PGC 2024 in Sight
Consistent performance within the region is key, as PUBG Americas Series events offer PGC qualification points.
The teams with the most points at the end of the season will qualify for the PUBG Global Championship 2024 in December.
Further details on qualification pathways will be announced soon.
