The new NASCAR game is being spearheaded by iRacing, the premier online racing simulation service.
iRacing acquired Monster Games in 2022 and has significantly expanded the team to 35 employees to focus on console game development.
Monster Games has a proven track record in NASCAR games, having developed several titles in the past.
Now, with additional resources and support from iRacing, they are poised to develop the most realistic NASCAR game yet.
Focus On Driving Physics And Career Mode
In a talk with Insider Gaming, iRacing President Tony Gardner said, the game will leverage much of the same technology used in the iRacing simulator.
This includes highly detailed car models, accurately modeled real-world tracks, and an advanced physics engine developed by iRacing.
The switch to Unreal Engine represents a major leap forward, bringing the visuals and overall gaming experience up to next-gen standards.
While specific gameplay details remain under wraps, Gardner emphasized the focus will be on delivering an authentic driving experience and immersive career mode.
