Where Does the Story Take Place?
The game’s narrative is set in the same world as the first two Terminator films, following an original storyline.
Players will find themselves in a post-apocalyptic United States, where they must navigate through hostile environments, scavenge for resources, and defend themselves against Skynet’s relentless machines and hostile human factions.
What Can We Expect from the Gameplay?
Terminator: Survivors is shaping up to be a survival-oriented twist on the open-world formula popularized by games like Far Cry 6.
Players will have the opportunity to build and fortify their base, craft weapons and equipment, and uncover new story details as they progress through the game.
One of the standout features is the ability to experience the game in both solo and co-op modes, allowing up to four players to team up and face the challenges together.
When and Where Can We Play It?
Terminator: Survivors is set to launch as an early access title on Steam on October 24, 2024.
While no specific release date has been announced for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions, the developers have confirmed that the game will eventually make its way to these platforms after the initial early access phase on PC.
What Have We Seen So Far?
A short teaser trailer released during the Nacon Connect showcase on February 29 provided a glimpse into the game’s world.
The trailer follows two survivors scavenging for fuel in an abandoned industrial building while being hunted by a menacing T-800 robot.
Although no actual gameplay footage was shown, the trailer effectively sets the tone for the intense and suspenseful experience that awaits players.
