South Korean developer Shift Up has officially announced the PC release of Stellar Blade for June 2025, expanding beyond its initial PlayStation 5 exclusivity. The PC version will include all post-launch content and introduce new features specifically developed for the platform.

The upcoming release will support 22 languages with full lip-sync functionality across 10 languages, including Japanese and Chinese. Financial reports from Shift Up indicate strong expectations for the PC version, with projections suggesting it will exceed the PlayStation 5 version’s sales performance, which generated $43.2 million (₩62.8 billion) in royalties.

The PC release will bundle all previously released content, including the Nier: Automata collaboration DLC, photo mode, and seasonal updates. Additionally, a new Goddess of Victory: Nikke DLC will launch simultaneously with the PC version, featuring new playable levels, boss battles, locations, and cosmetic content.

Shift Up has also announced plans to optimize the PC version to ensure smooth gameplay on ultra-mobile PC (UMPC) devices, including the Steam Deck. This optimization strategy aims to ensure consistent performance across different PC gaming devices, from traditional desktop computers to portable gaming systems.

Players can now add Stellar Blade to their wishlists on Steam, though the exact date is still unknown.

Shift Up’s decision to expand to PC follows the company’s strong financial performance in 2024, where they reported a 30.4% increase in revenue and a 33.8% rise in operating profit year-over-year. According to the company’s financial statements, this expansion aligns with their observation of growing demand for single-player action games in the Asian gaming market.

Looking ahead, the company is considering the development of a sequel to Stellar Blade, as well as a cross-platform project codenamed “Project Witches,” slated for a 2027 release.
