Along with changes to the regional PUBG MOBILE Super League (PMSL), the addition of PMGO cements PUBG Mobile’s status as a premier mobile esport.

Let’s break down everything we know so far about PMGO and other PUBG Mobile 2024 updates.

PMGO Brings the Heat to Brazil

Kicking off the 2024 PUBG Mobile circuit will be the first-ever PMGO tournament, hosted in Brazil with an impressive half-million dollar prize pool up for grabs.

The best PUBG Mobile teams from around the world will duke it out in Brazil this March for PMGO glory.

Regional PMSL winners, invited pro squads, and Brazilian teams will all get the chance to compete at this elite level.

The $500K prize pool alone is sure to attract top-tier talent.

PMGO also provides new opportunities for lesser-known teams to make a name for themselves on the global stage.

Major Changes Coming for PUBG MOBILE Super League

Along with launching PMGO, Tencent also revealed big changes for the regional PUBG MOBILE Super League (PMSL) in 2024.

PMSL will now be the premier esport league in all regions, replacing PMPL(PUBG Mobile Pro League).

More offline events and multiple seasons per region should level up competition.

Southeast Asia is getting a whopping 3 PMSL seasons, while Europe/MENA, the Americas, and Central/South Asia will each host 2 seasons.

PMSL qualifiers will give amateur squads a chance to reach the professionals.

Tencent also teased possibly expanding to 3 seasons across all regions soon.

More Global Events Than Ever Before

PMGO joins the usual suspects of the prestigious PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) and PUBG Mobile World Invitational (PMWI) to form a trifecta of 2024 global PUBG Mobile tournaments.

PMGC remains the culmination of the competitive season, while PMWI shifts to a midseason event.

Adding PMGO means more opportunities for elite teams to shine.

Regional leagues and smaller local tournaments like PUBG Mobile Club Open (PMCO) will support top tiers.

There will be no shortage of competition across all skill levels in PUBG Mobile esports next year.
