The MSI Claw, a highly anticipated gaming handheld device has recently hit the market with its Base model.
It joins the already bloated handheld market, which includes devices such as Steam Deck, Switch, Asus ROG Ally, and Lenovo Legion Go.
First announced at CES 2024 in January, MSI Claw aims at gamers who seek an affordable yet powerful gaming experience.
And Claw wants to deliver it as it is the first handheld device to come with Intel’s Core Ultra processors – Meteor Lake as the majority of handhelds in markets are built on AMD silicon.
It also boasts several impressive features that set it apart from its competitors like:

The MSI Claw comes in three different configurations, catering to various budgets and performance needs:
- The base model: $699 with a Core Ultra 5 processor and 512GB SSD storage.
- Mid-range model: $749 with a Core Ultra 7 processor and 512GB SSD storage.
- Top-tier model: $799 with a Core Ultra 7 processor and 1TB SSD storage.
Currently, The base model worth $699 hit the market on March 9 while the Mid-range model and Top-tier model are launching on March 12.
