Calling all Marvel fans and gamers! Get ready for an epic showdown.
During the annual GDC 2024 event, Skydance New Media, led by award-winning writer and director Amy Hennig, unveiled the first trailer of “Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra”.
This upcoming AAA game will be a cinematic narrative-driven action-adventure set in the tumultuous era of World War II, featuring none other than Captain America and Black Panther (Azzuri, T’Challa’s grandfather).
What Can We Expect from the Gameplay?
The narrative promises an immersive experience where players will assume the roles of four central characters:
- A young Steve Rogers, aka Captain America
- Azzuri, the WWII-era Black Panther
- Gabriel Jones, a U.S. soldier and member of the Howling Commandos
- Nanali, a Wakandan spy embedded in Occupied Paris
As the narrative unfolds, you’ll switch between these characters to navigate the complexities of the war-torn era and confront their common enemy – Hydra.
