Is Gregory Connors the Voice Behind Jason in GTA 6?

Grand Theft Auto 6: Who Will Voice the Protagonist Jason?

Gregory Connors the Face Behind Jason in GTA 6

The rumor mill is in full swing regarding the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA 6), and one of the biggest questions on everyone’s mind is: who will play the protagonist Jason?

According to a report by Game Rant, American actor Gregory Connors might be the man behind the voice of Jason.

What’s the Evidence?

Game Rant claims to have seen Connors’ resume, which allegedly listed a “lead” role in a Rockstar Games title slated for release in 2025

Since GTA 6 is the only known Rockstar project with a 2025 release window, the assumption is that Connors is referring to the highly anticipated game.

The Suspicious Resume Gap

Adding fuel to the fire is the fact that Connors has a noticeable gap in his acting credits on IMDB for the year 2023 as he continuously working since 2019.

This lines up with the development timeline of GTA 6, as voice recording for major roles often takes place years before a game’s release.

Suspicion?

However, there are a few factors that could potentially debunk the theory that Connors is voicing Jason.

  • NDAs Violations: One major roadblock is that Connors listed the role on his resume in the first place. Rockstar Games is notoriously strict with non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), and it’s hard to imagine them allowing the actor portraying a protagonist to reveal their involvement so early.

You can understand the seriousness of this matter as recently T-Pain had to leave the GTA 5 RP server NoPixel as he claimed working for GTA 6 and Rockstar Games didn’t want any potential leaks and barred him.

Alternative Theories

While Connors’ resume does suggest involvement in GTA 6, there’s a possibility that his “lead” role could be that of the game’s main antagonist or villain, rather than the protagonist Jason.

A Villain’s Role

Rockstar Games has a history of giving significant screen time to their main antagonists, such as Officer Tenpenny from GTA: San Andreas.

A role like this could still be classified as a “lead” and would fit Connors’ resume description.

Connors’ Credentials

It’s worth noting that Connors is a seasoned actor with over a decade of experience in stage and screen productions.

His recent projects include Roadhouse, Oh Canada, Shirley, Little Films, Space Cadet, The Good Fight, FBI: Most Wanted, The In-Betweens, Starfinder(voice) Lullaby and The Blacklist.

What About Lucia?

Apart from Jason GTA fans also speculateding the potential candidate to model for another protagonist and the first female lead of the GTA franchise, Lucia.

On the r/GTA6_NEW subreddit fans suggest Manni L. Perez, known for her work in Click Next to Continue, Law and Order, and Fire Island, might be playing Lucia as they both sound similar.

I fully believe that Manni L. Perez is portraying Lucia in GTA VI. She was in an episode of Law and Order SVU, alongside Roger Clark. Steven Ogg and Ned Luke have also previously appeared in Law and Order episodes.

However, none of these were confirmed or officially declared by Rockstar Games yet.
