Fnatic ONIC PH has etched its name in esports history by securing the prestigious M6 World Championship title with a commanding 4-1 victory over Indonesia’s Team Liquid ID in the grand finals. This milestone not only marks the organization’s first world championship but also signifies the fifth championship title for their region in the M-Series.

The M6 World Championship serves as the conclusion of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) 2024 competitive season, organized by MOONTON Games. This year’s edition returned to Kaula Lumpur, Malaysia, the birthplace of the inaugural M-Series event, and featured an increased prize pool of $1,000,000, up from $900,000.

Spanning from November 21 to December 15, the tournament unfolded across three intense stages: the Wildcard Stage, the Swiss Stage, and the Knockout Stage. Each phase showcased high-level competition and unforgettable performances.

Finale Unfold

Fnatic ONIC PH opened the finale with back-to-back wins, driven by standout performances from Duane “Kelra” Pillas on Bruno and King “K1NGKONG” Perez in the jungle. K1NGKONG excelled with Suyou in game one and Fredrinn in game two, securing a commanding lead for the team.

While Team Liquid ID fought back in game three with Favian “Faviannn” Putra’s exceptional performance on Joy, finishing with a stellar 9/2/1 KDA, it turned out to be their only victory in the series.

Game four was a complete rout, with Fnatic ONIC PH achieving a dominating 21-1 win. Despite Team Liquid ID’s resilience, the fifth game proved decisive. After securing the Lord at the 12-minute mark, Fnatic ONIC PH executed a three-lane push. Kelra’s focus on the base sealed the victory, delivering the championship to the Philippines.
