Lawrence Sullivan, also known as the Florida Joker, first made headlines last month when Rockstar Games launched the official trailer for the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6.

Sullivan is a strange Florida man known for his face tattoos and outlandish antics.

He gained internet fame several years ago after appearing in court dressed in a memorable Joker costume and face paint.

Shortly after the GTA 6 trailer debuted, Sullivan began demanding excessive sums of money from Rockstar Games, claiming they had used his likeness for one of the characters without permission.

As we know the first trailer is based on many real-life incidents in Florida and one of them is surely inspired by Sullivan’s Joker court antic.

He initially demanded $1 million, which later ballooned to a whopping $5 million.

Sullivan alleges that a tattooed character in a saffron dress in a courtroom scene shown in the trailer too closely resembles his own signature Joker aesthetic.

While Sullivan was initially threatening legal action against Rockstar to get what he felt he was owed, his tone seems to have softened in recent days.

In a new TikTok video, rather than demanding money, Sullivan now demanding a job from Rockstar Games.

He says he simply wants a role voicing the character in GTA 6.

He feels he should have the opportunity to bring the character, which he still believes is based on him, to life.

As of now, Rockstar has not publicly responded to any of Sullivan’s monetary demands or acting requests.

It remains to be seen whether the game developer would consider giving him a voice-acting role in GTA 6.

Some fans seem open to the idea of letting Sullivan voice the character he inspired, while others would prefer an experienced voice actor in the role.

The ball is in Rockstar’s court, but one thing’s for sure – the Florida Joker has succeeded in bringing some wild viral attention to himself and the upcoming game.

GTA 6 is launching in Q1 of 2025 but whether it’s on PS5 or PS5 Pro is the million-dollar question.
