Imagine being able to craft your own unique Lego-themed worlds within the Fortnite universe. That’s precisely what Lego Islands offer – a chance for creators to unleash their imagination and bring their Lego creations to life in the game.
Fortnite, the popular battle royale game by Epic Games, has introduced a new feature that allows creators to build their own Lego Islands within the game.
This collaboration between Epic Games and Lego provides creators with access to Lego templates, props, consumables, and items to construct their unique Lego-themed islands.
How Does the Lego Islands Feature Work?
Creators can utilize the Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN) and Fortnite Creative to design and build their Lego Islands.
Currently, there are four different templates available to get you started on your building journey.
Once published, these Lego Islands will be accessible to all players, subject to age ratings (E10+ in the United States and PEGI 7 in Europe).

What are the Advantages for Creators?
Creators who are signed up for the Fortnite Island Creator Program and choose to publish their Lego Islands will be eligible for payouts.
This incentive encourages creators to explore their creativity and share their unique Lego-themed experiences with the Fortnite community.
Upcoming Lego Islands
Since December 2023, when Lego partnered with Epic, it launched 2 Lego islands in Fortnite – Lego Raft Survival and Lego Obby.
At GDC 2024 they revealed another three new Lego Islands that will be released soon:
- LEGO Prop Hunt: A zany game mode set in a wacky shopping mall, inspired by the popular “Prop Hunt” mechanics.
- LEGO Battle Arena: Players can train at the LEGO NINJAGO Dojo with Lloyd and the Masters of Spinjitzu, compete against others, and hone their skills.
- LEGO Cat Island Adventure: A playful game focused on nurturing a relationship with a friendly cat on an island, completing tasks to keep the cat happy.
