Dungeon Clawler, a turn-based card strategy game infused with roguelike elements, has made a remarkable debut on Steam and mobile platforms. Launched on November 21, 2024, the game has already crossed the impressive milestone of 100,000 copies sold in just two weeks. What sets Dungeon Clawler apart is its unique gameplay mechanic, where players draw essential items for their deck using a claw from an arcade machine.
According to Stray Fawn Studio, the game’s developer, half of these sales occurred within just five days of its release. While the developers haven’t shared specific sales distribution data across platforms, analytics from Gamalytic suggest that Steam played a significant role in these numbers. Their report estimates that Dungeon Clawler sold around 77,400 copies on Steam alone, generating an estimated revenue of $614,400.
Ahead of its launch, Dungeon Clawler had already built considerable anticipation, with over 185,000 wishlists recorded on Steam. This strong pre-launch interest translated into positive reception after release. The game currently holds a “Very Positive” rating of 89% on Steam, reflecting high player satisfaction.
At its peak, Dungeon Clawler attracted 2,790 concurrent players on Steam, making it the second most-played title in Stray Fawn Studio’s portfolio. The top spot remains with their city-building game, The Wandering Village, which peaked at 5,786 simultaneous players.
