Call of Duty Warzone Mobile Launching on March 21: Everything We Know So Far

Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile is an upcoming free-to-play battle royale game for iOS and Android platforms. 

Developed by Activision, Warzone Mobile brings the popular Call of Duty franchise to mobile devices for the first time. 

When is the Release Date for Warzone Mobile?

Activision has confirmed that Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile will launch on March 21, 2024, for iOS and Android platforms. 

The company has already started pre-registration on the official website. 

Players who pre-register will receive in-game rewards like skins, blueprints, and more at launch.

What Maps Will Be Available at Launch?

Warzone Mobile will feature two iconic Call of Duty maps – Verdansk and Rebirth Island. 

The Verdansk map can hold up to 120 players and includes the Gulag where eliminated players get a chance to respawn. 

Rebirth Island is smaller with a max capacity of 48 players and uses Resurgence respawn rules.

Will Progression Carry Over From Other Call of Duty Games?

One of Warzone Mobile’s most exciting features is a shared progression with Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2 on console/PC. 

Your player level, weapon level, and Battle Pass progress will be synchronized across all platforms. 

Any in-game purchases like skins and blueprints will also carry over, offering a seamless experience regardless of which version you play.

What Game Modes Will Be Available?

While full details are still scarce, we know Warzone Mobile will feature traditional battle royale along with various multiplayer modes like Team Deathmatch, Search and Destroy, and Domination. 

More modes will likely be added over time.

Will Controllers Be Supported?

For players who prefer controllers over touch controls, Warzone Mobile will support connecting external controllers like those made for Xbox and PlayStation using Bluetooth.

What Kind of Monetization Should We Expect?

As a free-to-play game, Warzone Mobile will likely feature an in-game store for purchasing cosmetic items like character and weapon skins. 

A seasonal Battle Pass with free and premium tiers will also likely be included.
