This inaugural event will take place from March 16th to 19th, bringing together eight top-tier teams competing for a prize pool of $100,000.

Tournament Format

The 1win Series Dota 2 Spring will follow an exciting format designed to keep the competition intense and engaging. 

Group Stage : 

  • 8 teams divided into 2 groups
  • Group stage follows the GSL (double-elimination) format
  • Teams get 3 chances to qualify for the next round
  • If a team loses twice, they’re eliminated

Playoffs:

  • The top 2 teams from each group advance to playoffs
  • Playoffs are single-elimination bracket
  • Matches are Best-of-3 (Bo3)

Grand Finals 

  • Top 2 teams
  • Best-of-5 (Bo5)

A Growing Trend: Bookmakers Hosting Esports Tournaments
