Raidiant Tapped as NA Tournament Organizer for VALORANT Game Changers 2024

The competitive VALORANT landscape for women just gained a powerful new ally.

Renowned broadcast operator Raidiant has been selected by Riot Games as the official organizer for the 2024 VALORANT Game Changers North America series.

This partnership brings Raidiant’s expertise in spotlighting women’s talent to one of esports’ fastest rising titles.

Let’s explore what this means for Game Changers competitors in the months ahead.

About Raidiant

Radiant is a division of New Meta Entertainment, Inc., a sports and entertainment company founded in May 2019.

Radiant is a unique esports broadcaster and event organizer for women gamers, created by women.

Raidiant’s proven track record includes hosting major events in VALORANT, Rocket League, Overwatch, and beyond.

Now they bring that expertise to help Game Changers players take the next step.

Prestigious New Role for Raidiant

As an organizer, Raidiant will oversee all Open Qualifiers leading up to three Main Events with a total prize pool of $150,000

Each Game Changers NA Series I, II, and III will have multiple Open Qualifiers for up to 48 teams.

And only the top eight teams will advance to the Main Event.

The Main Event will be directed by Esports Hall of Famer and Emmy Nominated In-Game Director, Heather “sapphiRe” Garozzo.

Their seasoned production team will broadcast Main Event matches on Twitch and provide a platform for aspiring casters to stream Qualifier games.

This presents a massive opportunity for Raidiant to strengthen the Game Changers ecosystem and set NA competitors up for success on the global stage.

Paths to Stardom for Emerging Stars

Besides Game Changer, Raidaint runs its own program “Game Changers NA Academy program” for aspiring gamers.

Rebranded as Raidiant Academy featured 8 events throughout 2024 offering $16,000 in prizes.

The aim of this Academy is to give new teams high-quality competitive experience before tackling the majors.

Providing visibility for tomorrow’s stars is central to their mission of advancement for women in esports.

The Sky’s the Limit for Women in Esports

Riot’s leadership continues evolving attitudes around women’s esports through initiatives like Game Changers.

Last year’s Game Changers series was a massive success with nearly 294,000 peak concurrent viewers witnessing North America’s Shopify Rebellion winning the event.

Meanwhile, Raidiant is on the ground floor cultivating talent and demonstrating the sky-high skill ceiling.

This powerful collaboration signals a bright future.
