Fingersoft’s Hill Climb Racing series has achieved a monumental milestone, surpassing 2.5 billion downloads across platforms. According to the Finnish developer, this makes it the most downloaded racing game series globally. Since its debut in 2012, the franchise has become a household name in mobile gaming, captivating millions with its simple yet engaging physics-based gameplay.
The series began with the launch of Hill Climb Racing in September 2012, followed by its sequel, Hill Climb Racing 2, in November 2016. Over the years, the franchise has maintained its popularity, with more than 50 million active monthly players.
The first billion downloads were achieved in April 2018, and the series doubled that number by April 2022. This year, Fingersoft introduced a spin-off, LEGOⓇ Hill Climb Adventures, while confirming that Hill Climb Racing 3 is under development.
Fingersoft has continuously updated its games, adding new features and collaborations to keep the community engaged. Notably, the company recently announced an exclusive collaboration with Konami Digital Entertainment, featuring an in-game event with Super Bomberman R 2 in Hill Climb Racing 2.
