WWE 2K fans, get hyped!
The next installment of the popular wrestling video game franchise has been announced and it’s shaping up to be the biggest and best yet.
Developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K, WWE 2K24 is launching on March 8, 2024 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
When and Where Can You Get WWE 2K24?
WWE 2K24 will drop on March 8th, 2023 for current and last-gen PlayStation and Xbox consoles, as well as on PC via Steam.
The Deluxe and special “40 Years of WrestleMania” editions will be released a bit earlier on March 5th.
Who Are the Cover Superstars This Year?
Taking the cover spot this year for the standard edition is none other than “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes!
The charismatic son of Dusty Rhodes is having a career year in WWE and looks to continue his hot streak in the world of gaming.
Sharing the Deluxe Edition cover are two of WWE’s top woman superstars – the electric Bianca Belair and mami Rhea Ripley.
Having already conquered the women’s division, expect these two badasses to raise hell in the virtual squared circle!
What’s New in WWE 2K24’s Gameplay?
WWE 2K24 is set to introduce a ton of new match types, including Ambulance Match, Casket Match, Special Guest Referee, and Gauntlet Match.
Fan favorites like Royal Rumble and Hell in a Cell also return with upgrades like 8-player online support for the Rumble!
Some other gameplay improvements include new OMG moments like super finishes and diving onto opponents outside the ring, better trading blows mechanics, and the ability to use weapons in more dynamic ways.
Seven real-life WWE refs are also in the game for added authenticity.
Will Popular Modes Like GM Mode Return?
You bet!
WWE 2K24 will see the return of several beloved modes from previous games in the franchise.
This includes the management simulation MyGM, fantasy team builder MyFaction, immersive career experience MyRise, and the ultimate WWE sandbox Universe Mode.
All of these have received upgrades, new features, and content for an even deeper experience.
How Crazy Is the Roster This Year?
As expected, WWE 2K24 boasts the biggest WWE video game roster ever with over 200 playable Superstars and Legends!
Alongside today’s top stars like Roman Reigns and Bianca Belair, you’ll be able to step in the ring with icons like The Rock, Stone Cold, and Andre the Giant.

You know it! This year’s marquee showcase will celebrate 40 epic years of WrestleMania history.
