Mobile gaming isn’t slowing down—and March 2025 brought fire. From explosive revenue shifts to massive download surges, last month served up plenty of surprises, comebacks, and shakeups.
💰 Top Revenue Earners
LastWar: Survival held onto its throne in March, pulling in a staggering $153 million in IAP revenue. While slightly down from its record highs earlier this year, it’s still sitting pretty at the top, per data from mobilegamer.biz via Appmagic.
Whiteout Survival had a breakout moment, smashing past expectations with $149 million, its best month ever. Just behind, Royal Match earned $147 million, barely missing its personal best.
PUBG Mobile is officially back. With $141 million in March—its biggest month since January 2023—the battle royale juggernaut is reminding everyone it’s still a force.
Meanwhile, Honor of Kings took a major hit, plummeting to $121 million, down sharply from over $200M in February. This sharp decline likely stems from the end of heavy monetization efforts during Lunar New Year celebrations that ran through January and February, resulting in player spending fatigue.
Monopoly Go started bouncing back, bringing in $116 million after a slower start to 2025. While still far from its mid-2024 highs (~$160M/month). Industry experts note that some of this spending has likely shifted to the game’s web shop, which isn’t captured in these figures.
Candy Crush Saga might be aging, but it’s aging like wine. The King classic raked in $111 million, its best month ever, proving the monetization muscle of its loyal fanbase.
Pokémon TCG Pocket crossed the $100 million mark for the first time—shoutout to the wildly successful Shining Revelry card pack. Coin Master held steady with $68 million, and Pokémon Go climbed back into the top 10 thanks to a Unova event-powered boost to $63 million.
📈 Trending Revenue Shifts
Plot twist: Township overtook Gardenscapes as Playrix’s top earner—its first time in years. The OG 2013 game pulled in $45.1 million, narrowly beating Gardenscapes at $44.7 million.
Uma Musume Pretty Derby might be staging a comeback. The Cygames hit leapt 17 places, hitting its best numbers since March 2024 with $42.7 million. Gossip Harbor, meanwhile, is on fire—reaching a record $38.8 million after its late-2024 growth sprint.
Roblox’s iOS revenue cratered, falling to a shocking $3 million on iOS and $35 million total—down from nearly $97 million in February. Most analysts believe it’s a data glitch, but still, it raised eyebrows.
Dragonball Z: Dokkan Battle, ever the wild card, swung from a $63M February to a more “normal” $21.5 million, dropping back to 37th place.

Roblox came in second with 18.7 million, while the ageless Subway Surfers held strong in third at 14.4 million. (Note: These numbers exclude China’s Android market.)
What’s powering Block Blast’s insane growth? Heavy user acquisition spend and aggressive A/B testing, says Hungry Studio’s Jason Wang. By the end of 2024, it hit 40M daily and 160M monthly active users. Since launch, it’s racked up 465.4 million lifetime downloads.
Surprise of the month? Craft Block World Building, a Minecraft-style sandbox game from SuroboyoStar, suddenly exploded with 11 million Android downloads, thanks to surging popularity in Indonesia, Brazil, Mexico, Turkey, and India.
