The*gamehers, a platform dedicated to celebrating women and femme-identifying individuals in gaming and esports, has announced significant changes to its awards ceremony for 2025. Moving beyond a single event, the revamped program will now honor achievements throughout the year.
The 2025 edition of the*gamehers Awards will recognize 100 outstanding women across 10 categories, such as TrailblazHERs in Gaming, Content CreatHERs, Esports Excellence, and Advocates for Representation.
The winners will receive comprehensive recognition, including exclusive digital features, personalized articles, and cash prizes. Virtual streams scheduled throughout March 2025 will highlight each category, making the awards accessible to a global audience.
This transformation builds on the success of previous ceremonies, with the 2024 edition generating over 10 million impressions and attracting 155,000 viewers across streaming platforms. In light of this momentum, the*gamehers aims to create an even greater platform for inclusivity and inspiration.

In addition to recognition, winners will receive in-app AMA opportunities, partner merchandise, and ongoing promotion through the *gamehers’ channels, which boast a reach of over 11 million users.
Nominations and Voting Details
Nominations are open exclusively through the*gamehers App, available on the App Store, Google Play, and desktop. Voting will take place in January and February 2025, with the top 10 winners in each category announced during the March recognition streams.
Partnership for Growth
In collaboration with the nonprofit 1000 Dreams Fund, the*gamehers will match fundraising efforts to provide additional financial support for winners. This initiative aims to promote professional growth and innovation among recipients.
