As HBO gears up to release “The Penguin” on September 19, a solo series starring Colin Farrell‘s scene-stealing character from 2022’s “The Batman” movie.
To celebrate, Warner Bros. has launched a Steam sale running until September 22, offering massive discounts on some of the best Batman video games, whether or not The Penguin features in them.
Following in the footsteps of Prime Video’s successful “Fallout” series promotion earlier this year, which saw a resurgence in interest for older Fallout titles, WB Games seems to be adopting a similar approach.
With early reviews for “The Penguin” looking promising (Certified Fresh at 91% on the Tomatometer), this Steam sale could be the perfect way to capitalize on the buzz and introduce a new generation to the rich tapestry of Batman games.
While Oswald Cobblepot (The Penguin’s real name) may not always take center stage, several games in this sale like Batman: Arkham Origins and Lego Batman give him a chance to shine.
Here are some of the best deals:
- Batman: Arkham Origins – $3.99 (was $19.99)
- Batman: Arkham Origins- Cold, Cold Heart – $2.49 (was $9.99)
- Batman: Arkham Collection – $8.99 (was $5.99)
- Gotham Knights Deluxe Edition – $15.99 (was $79.99)
- Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition – $5 (75% off)
- Injustice 2 Legendary Edition – $5.99 (was $59.99)
- Lego Batman Trilogy – $4.99 (was $49.99)
- Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League – Deluxe Edition – $19.99 (was $99.99)
- Watchmen: The End Is Nigh Bundle – $2.99 (was $9.99)
Even if you’re not quite a fan of The Penguin, the Steam sale offers a chance to snag some classic Batman games at unbeatable prices.
