The world’s top Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) players are heading to Indonesia for an epic showdown. The Snapdragon Pro Series has chosen the Tennis Indoor Stadium Senayan in Jakarta as the battleground for its prestigious Mobile Masters Championship (SPS MLBB), scheduled for April 2025.
This major tournament brings together ESL FACEIT Group and Qualcomm Technologies to create an exciting competition where 12 of the world’s best teams will fight for their share of $200,000 and the title of first-ever global SPS MLBB champions.
The 2025 Mobile Masters is the final event of the Snapdragon Pro Series Year 3 for MLBB, serving as ESL’s mobile version of the prestigious ESL Pro Tour Masters Championship.
The path to victory starts with the group stage from April 7-9, followed by playoffs on April 11, and culminates in an intense final series on April 13.
Ten teams will earn their places through the Snapdragon Pro Series Season 6, while the remaining two slots are specially reserved. One goes to the winner of a Chinese qualifier run by MOONTON Games (the creators of MLBB), and the other is secured for Team Liquid ID, representing the host nation.
Fans can catch the action live on Twitch and YouTube, with broadcasts available in multiple languages, including English and Bahasa Indonesia.
Sam Braithwaite, VP of Game Ecosystems at ESL FACEIT Group, shares the excitement: “This has been a huge year for our MLBB program, and hosting the world championship in Indonesia is the perfect finale. Southeast Asia always brings incredible energy to our events, and we’re expecting the same electric atmosphere at Mobile Masters.”
The tournament’s announcement comes at a time when Mobile Legends is experiencing remarkable growth beyond its home turf China. The game has successfully expanded its competitive scene across multiple regions, including Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Cambodia, Latin America, the Middle East/North Africa, and Europe.
The Snapdragon Pro Series has already proven its popularity in the MLBB community. Recent statistics from Esports Charts show that the Season 6 APAC – Open Finals drew more than 830,000 viewers, setting a new record that surpassed the previous Challenge Finals.
In 2024, MLBB dominated the esports scene, with 4 out of the 10 most-watched esports events being from the game. The Mobile Legends Professional League (MPL) Indonesia led the way with 4 million concurrent viewers.
