The inaugural FIFAe World Cup featuring Rocket League witnessed a historic moment as Saudi Arabia emerged victorious against France in an exhilarating final held from December 5-8, 2024, in Riyadh.

The home team, comprising talented players Rw9, Kiileerrz, trk511, and d7oom-24, showcased exceptional skill throughout the tournament. Their triumph marked a significant milestone in FIFAe history, as this was the first time national teams competed in a Rocket League format under the FIFA banner.

The tournament, which featured 16 national teams, took place at the state-of-the-art Saudi Esports Federation Arena in Boulevard City. The competition drew substantial viewership through various streaming platforms, with co-streamers from different countries bringing the action to global audiences.

This victory holds special significance as it represents the first of three World Cup tournaments within the FIFAe Finals 2024.

FIFA allocated a total of USD 450,000 across all three FIFAe World Cup tournaments. This substantial investment underscores FIFA’s commitment to developing competitive gaming at the international level.

Following this successful completion, the focus shifted to the remaining FIFAe World Cups featuring eFootball™ competitions on mobile and console platforms, scheduled for December 9-12.
