“We believe in providing the next generation of gamers with the best technology and opportunities to help them reach their full potential. Through Samsung’s Galaxy Gaming Academy Campus Series, we are not only equipping students with mobile devices that provide the best gaming experience, we are also creating a forum for them to develop their skills, gain experience, and expand their community,” Carl Nordenberg, VP, Regional Head of Mobile Experience, Samsung Electronics Southeast Asia and Oceania stated in a press release.
The MLBB Campus Series is part of a broader effort to expand the game’s esports ecosystem. In March 2024, MOONTON Games partnered with the Snapdragon Pro Series (SPS) to introduce MLBB competitions to new regions, including Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, and North Africa, with a total prize pool of $780,000. MLBB Mobile Masters will be held in Jakarta next month as part of SPS.
Most recently, they partnered with Carry1st, a prominent African game publisher, to host an all-female MLBB tournament as part of the Carry1st Africa Cup 2025. The event will serve as a qualifier for the Esports World Cup 2025.
