Reign of Titans, a free-to-play card-based strategy game, has made its official debut on both Android and iPhone devices via the Google Play Store and App Store.
At the core of Reign of Titans is its strategic 1v1 gameplay. Players engage in intense battles, managing their character’s health and deploying carefully crafted builds to outsmart opponents.
The timing of this launch is particularly significant for India’s booming esports industry. With a growing demand for games that cater to both casual and competitive audiences, Reign of Titans bridges this gap effectively. Its lightweight technical requirements ensure that players with even basic smartphones can enjoy the game. Adi Abili, Head of Reign of Titans, expressed the team’s vision:
“Reign of Titans is here to make an impact in India. We’ve spent considerable time and effort to deliver the best version of our game, one that’s fun for everyone and offers a new opportunity for players looking to make a name for themselves in esports.”
The game’s narrative revolves around two powerful forces – Chaos and Order – and their battle with each other [1v1] for supremacy. Players, known as “Kyoks” in the game world, start their journey by choosing their champion from eight different elemental Titans.
Each player builds their own unique deck of scrolls before entering the Arena for intense one-on-one battles. During matches, players need to think strategically about using their Titan’s energy (called “Mana”) and maintaining their health points (HP) while trying to defeat their opponent. Victory can be achieved in two ways: either by reducing the opponent’s HP to zero or by making them run out of scrolls to play.
Before this official release, the development team conducted extensive beta testing throughout India in 2024. They visited college campuses, and gaming cafes, and collaborated with prominent esports athletes to fine-tune the game according to local preferences.
The game’s low system requirements mean that almost anyone with a smartphone can jump in and compete on the global leaderboards.
New players are welcomed with a special “Welcome Loot Box,” providing them with valuable resources to begin their journey.
The game’s developers are maintaining an active presence in India, with plans for various live events and college tours across the country. Players can visit the official Instagram to see upcoming events.
