Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine 2

PulluP Entertainment, the parent company behind Focus Entertainment, has released its financial results for the third quarter ending December 31, 2024, showcasing remarkable growth primarily driven by the continued success of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2.

Record-Breaking Financial Performance

The company’s Q3 performance has set new benchmarks:

  • Total revenue reached €100.8 million, marking a 132.7% increase compared to the same period last year
  • New game releases generated €68.5 million, a dramatic 7.7x increase from last year’s €8.9 million
  • Back-catalog sales grew by 4.5% to reach €30.8 million
  • This quarter stands as the company’s second-best ever, following only Q2 FY24/25’s €200 million milestone

Space Marine 2’s Continuing Success

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 has emerged as the company’s standout performer since its September 2024 launch:

  • Reached 6 million unique players by January 16, 2025
  • Showed consistent growth from 5 million players reported in early December
  • Contributed significantly to Games Workshop’s licensing revenue, which increased 2.5x for the six months ending December 1, 2024

Portfolio Performance

PulluP’s success extended beyond Space Marine 2:

    • Train Sim World 5 achieved record-breaking sales, outperforming previous entries
    • Three new indie releases – Metal Slug Tactics, Drova, and Void Crew – exceeded expectations
    • Live service games continued strong performance:
      1. SnowRunner
      2. Insurgency: Sandstorm
      3. Expeditions: A MudRunner Game
  • Established franchises like A Plague Tale and Dotemu’s TMNT: Shredder‘s Revenge maintained steady sales

Looking ahead, the company’s diverse portfolio and strong performance in both new releases and back-catalog titles suggest a robust foundation for continued growth in 2025.
