Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket has achieved an impressive milestone, surpassing 60 million downloads on Android and iOS since its launch on October 30, 2024. This achievement highlights the game’s massive popularity and growing global fanbase.
Financially the game has also seen remarkable success, generating $208 million in gross revenue within its first month on the App Store and Google Play. Notably, the game reached $100 million in just 17 days and doubled that figure by November 29, 2024.
The milestone comes shortly after the game’s nomination for Best Mobile Game at The Game Awards, an annual event celebrating excellence in the gaming industry.
Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket offers players a unique digital card game experience with stunning visuals, strategic gameplay, and a growing library of collectible cards. Its engaging design and frequent updates have contributed significantly to its sustained popularity among fans worldwide.
Recently, the Pokémon Company launched the highly anticipated Mythical Island expansion on December 17, 2024, which features new card illustrations, including Mythical Pokémon Mew, and introduces fresh binder and display board covers inspired by the Mythical Island theme. Additionally, a special holiday countdown campaign started on December 24, 2024, offering Trainers free in-game gifts and seasonal surprises.
