Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced the PlayStation Plus Essential games for December 2024, along with exciting new additions to the Classics Catalog for PlayStation Plus Premium members. Here’s what subscribers can look forward to this holiday season.
December’s PlayStation Plus Essential Games
The following titles will be available to PlayStation Plus Essential (and above) members from December 3 to January 6:
It Takes Two | PS4, PS5
Winner of multiple Game of the Year awards, It Takes Two is a critically acclaimed co-op adventure designed to be played with a partner. This heartfelt story follows Cody and May, a couple on the verge of divorce who are transformed into miniature doll versions of themselves.

Aliens: Dark Descent | PS4, PS5
Dive into the terrifying universe of Aliens with this real-time strategy game. In Aliens: Dark Descent, players command a squad of Colonial Marines tasked with containing a deadly Xenomorph outbreak on Moon Lethe.
The game combines tactical combat with resource management as you lead your squad through hostile environments filled with threats. Temtem | PS5

November’s PlayStation Plus Games – Last Chance to Claim

December Classics Catalog Additions
PlayStation Plus Premium members can enjoy a nostalgic trip with these PS2 classics, available starting December 10:

- Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy
These timeless adventures join an already robust Classics Catalog that includes PS1, PS2, and PSP games, along with PS3 titles available via cloud streaming.
Other Premium Features
A Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 game trial will be available to Premium members starting December 3.
