Capcom has released its updated sales figures for their “Platinum Titles” – games that have achieved the remarkable feat of selling over one million copies. The data, current as of September 2024, reveals the continuing dominance of two major franchises: Monster Hunter and Resident Evil.
Monster Hunter Series
1. Monster Hunter: World: 20.9 million units
- Including Iceborne Master Edition: 27 million units
- Base game continues to sell with 400,000 new units this quarter
- Remains Capcom’s best-selling game of all time
2. Monster Hunter Rise: 16 million units
- Added 600,000 units in the latest quarter
- Sunbreak expansion: 8.8 million units
