Modders Bring Highly Demanded Co-Op Mod to Spider-Man PC Game

Marvel’s Spider-Man ps4 2018

Modders are answering the call for a highly demanded co-op mode in the popular Spider-Man PC game. As reported by WccfTech, this upcoming mod aims to bring to life a scrapped co-op mode originally planned for Spider-Man.

While unofficial, the mod’s early development progress shows immense potential, and the preview trailer has already generated significant excitement among fans.

What to Expect from the Mod

Curious fans have already been flooding the developers with questions about the mod’s features. Thankfully, the team has been transparent, sharing updates and answers on their Discord server. Currently, the mod is designed exclusively for Spider-Man 1, but the developers have expressed interest in expanding it to Spider-Man 2 in the future.

Players will be able to join a server with up to 16 web-slingers, creating an exciting multiplayer experience. While PvP (Player vs. Player) isn’t part of the initial release, the team is actively exploring ways to integrate it down the line. Additionally, the mod will support both Steam and Epic Games versions, and players can use custom-modded suits—provided everyone on the server has the same mods installed.

Challenges and Future Prospects

It’s worth noting that the project only kicked off in August of this year. Modding on this scale is no small feat, and there’s always a risk that development could hit significant roadblocks. However, based on the current progress and the enthusiasm from both developers and the community, the outlook remains optimistic.

While a release date is still up in the air, the developers’ dedication suggests that players might soon be swinging through New York City alongside their friends. For now, fans will need to keep an eye on updates from the modding team.
