The plan includes flagship tournaments, community engagement initiatives, and programs to nurture emerging talent, showcasing KRAFTON’s commitment to developing India’s Esports ecosystem.
Flagship Tournaments: BGIS and BMPS 2025
The Esports season begins with the open to all BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA SERIES (BGIS) 2025, with registrations opening on January 3, 2025. Featuring a massive prize pool of ₹2 crore, this tournament provides a platform for aspiring players to showcase their skills. The BGIS LAN Finals, scheduled for April 2025, will take place in Kolkata, offering an electrifying live gaming experience for fans.
Following BGIS, KRAFTON will host the BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA PRO SERIES (BMPS) 2025. This invite-only tournament, also boasting a ₹2 crore prize pool, will bring together India’s top professional teams to compete at the highest level.
Rising Star Program: Empowering New Talent
To support emerging Esports players and content creators, KRAFTON has introduced the Rising Star program. This initiative provides mentorship to help participants improve their live-streaming techniques, develop effective social media strategies, and build strong personal brands. Expanding the Esports College Campus Tour
Building on the success of previous years, the Esports College Campus Tour will reach more institutions across India in 2025. With a total prize pool exceeding ₹2 crore, individual host colleges will receive over ₹2 lakh in prizes. This initiative has already engaged students from prestigious institutions like IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur, and K.J. Somaiya College of Engineering, fostering enthusiasm for competitive gaming among young audiences.
