Krafton Plans Big Updates Throughout 2025 for Its Life Simulation Game InZoi

Krafton’s life simulation game, Inzoi, has unveiled an ambitious roadmap for 2025 with four major updates planned throughout the year. The early access title will receive significant additions to gameplay, customization options, and even a brand new city.

The first update, slated for May 2025, will introduce modding tools—a huge draw for Life Sim fans who thrive on customization, much like the vibrant modding community around The Sims. Alongside this, players can expect additional cheat codes to tweak gameplay, offering more control over their virtual lives.

In August 2025, the second update brings one of the most anticipated features: swimming and pools. This addition not only expands the range of activities for Zois (the game’s characters) but also hints at more dynamic environmental interactions.

October’s third update will roll out family trees, hotkey customization, and improvements to the Create-A-Zoi system, deepening the personal and creative aspects of the game.

Finally, the December 2025 update promises a festive close to the year with new furniture, mod enhancements, and quality-of-life improvements like adjustable object sizes in build mode.

Pricing Information

What’s notable is Krafton’s promise that all these updates, including DLC, will be free during Early Access, which is expected to last at least a year.

Inzoi Early Access is priced at $39.99, which includes:

  • The base game (launching March 28th)
  • All four major updates throughout 2025
  • The “Kucingku” DLC at no additional cost for early access purchasers

The roadmap also teases longer-term plans, with a faint hint of a fifth update in March 2026, though specifics remain under wraps for now. Krafton’s approach—listening to community input via platforms like Discord and collaborating with influencers—suggests they’re aiming to build a loyal player base while refining the game in real time.

That said, Inzoi isn’t without its early hiccups. The game launched with bugs (like the infamous “run over children” glitch, swiftly patched out) and some players have noted it feels a bit empty compared to its polished rival. Still, with this packed 2025 roadmap, Krafton is clearly betting big on Inzoi’s potential to shake up the genre—and maybe even steal a crown or two.

InZoi hit a peak of 87,377 players on Steam on launch day, and now four days later, over 43,377 were playing it as per Steam data. The game has been well-received, with 82% of 12,000 reviews on Steam being positive. For comparison, its rival, The Sims 4, peaked at 96,328 players two years ago and still pulls in over 40,000 daily players, even a decade after its release.
