Earlier this week, Insomniac Games, the studio behind the critically acclaimed Spider-Man titles and Ratchet & Clank, fell victim to a cyberattack. Hackers infiltrated their systems, stealing sensitive employee data and, most importantly, gameplay files for upcoming titles, including the highly anticipated Marvel’s Wolverine.

In the aftermath of the incident, Insomniac has issued a formal statement addressing the data breach and the leaked Wolverine footage. The studio expressed heartfelt gratitude to its community for their unwavering support during this challenging time.
The stolen data included the personal information of current and former employees, as well as individual contractors, so the developer told fans to not forward them.
The statement reassured fans that Marvel’s Wolverine remains on course, with the game in its early production stages. Highlighting the evolving nature of game development, the studio remains optimistic about the project’s future.
