Infinix, a global brand known for its smartphones and laptops, has announced the launch of the GT PowerPlay Esports Tournament in India.
This exciting tournament, which will take place over three seasons, is set to bring together more than 1,024 teams to compete in popular Battle Royale games like BGMI (Battlegrounds Mobile India).
The first season kicks off on October 16th and will run until October 26th, offering players a thrilling opportunity to showcase their skills.
This tournament underscores Infinix’s growing focus on expanding its presence in India’s gaming ecosystem. Infinix has already introduced a range of gaming products, including the GT 20 Pro smartphone and GTBook gaming laptops, both designed to provide the ultimate gaming experience for users. And this tournament serves as an ideal platform for promotion.
The tournament will follow a multi-phase structure, starting with the Open Qualifiers. From there, the competition will move through Closed Qualifiers, Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and finally, the Grand Finals. At each stage, teams will be eliminated until only the top 16 remain to compete in the final showdown.
The total prize pool for the tournament is set at INR 50,000, with the Grand Finals taking place over two days, where the winning team will claim the top prize.
Glazer Games will be handling the execution of the GT PowerPlay Esports Tournament, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for both participants and viewers.
