Corsair Gaming, a leading global provider of high-performance products for gamers and PC builders, has suggested that Grand Theft Auto 6’s PC version might arrive in early 2026.

During the company’s Q4 2024 earnings call, CEO Andy Paul shared insights about the highly anticipated game’s release timeline. “It’s going to come out in the fall for console, and then early ’26 for PC,” Paul stated, describing GTA 6 as “the most anticipated and hardware-demanding game” on the horizon.

The timing of this revelation coincides with the launch of NVIDIA’s new Blackwell 50 series GPUs, which has already sparked significant market interest. “Enthusiasts are lining up to purchase components” to support these new GPU cards, Paul noted, indicating strong market preparation for upcoming demanding games like GTA 6.

Take-Two Interactive’s CEO, Strauss Zelnick, had previously acknowledged the growing importance of the PC gaming platform. While confirming the initial PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S exclusivity, Zelnick emphasized that the PC platform has become “more and more important part of what used to be a console business.” He further noted that PC versions can “result in up to 40% of a game’s total sales.”

This announcement came during a significant transition period for Corsair Gaming. Paul revealed his upcoming retirement effective July 1, 2025, after 31 years leading the company. Thi La, currently serving as President and Chief Operating Officer, will take over as CEO.

While Rockstar Games hasn’t officially confirmed the PC release date, the gaming industry typically sees PC versions of major titles launching several months after their console counterparts.
