While specific details about prize pools and locations remain under wraps, industry experts point to FISSURE’s track record of hosting premium events. Their most recent tournament, FISSURE Playground #1 in Belgrade, offered a substantial million-dollar prize pool, with Tundra Esports claiming victory and $400,000 in prize money after a thrilling 3-2 victory over Team Falcons.

The announcement gains additional significance as it follows PGL’s recent declaration of four major Dota 2 events for 2027, each featuring a million-dollar prize pool. These combined announcements signal a robust competitive calendar for the Dota 2 community.

For immediate Dota 2 action, fans can look forward to DreamLeague Season 25, scheduled to begin on February 16, 2025, featuring sixteen teams competing for a million-dollar prize pool.
