SuperGaming Set to Host First Indus Esports Invitational Tournament with ₹10 lakh Prize Pool

SuperGaming, a prominent gaming company based in Pune, is preparing to host the highly anticipated Indus Esports Invitational for its upcoming Indus Battle Royale title.

This landmark event, scheduled for October 28, 2023, marks the official inauguration of the Indus Battle Royale tournament.

Currently, Indus Battle Royale is available in limited closed beta testing and exclusive playtests organized by the developer for influencers. It is a Made in India title set to be an alternative to Free Fire and PUBG/BGMI.

Indus Esports Invitational is poised to introduce a groundbreaking competitive platform for professional gamers to showcase their skills and prowess in this new game.

SuperGaming CEO and co-founder, Roby John, expressed profound confidence in the performance capabilities of the Indus Battle Royale following the successful community playtest. He said:

Teams Participating In Indus Esports Invitational

The inaugural Indus Esports Invitational is set to witness a collision of gaming titans, with the following formidable esports teams gracing the competitive landscape:

  • Orangutan
  • Godlike Esports
  • Team 8bit
  • Global Esports
  • Enigma Gaming
  • Reckoning Esports

The tournament is not open to all and only some prominent BGMI/PUBG esports teams are invited. The above teams probably participated in playtests which will give them advantages over new players. The game format is set as best of five rounds on Virlok, a map of Indus Battle Royale.

A Lucrative Prize Pool

The tournament offers a prize pool of Rs 10 lakh, with the champion claiming half Rs 5 lakh. Additionally, the runner-up, third-place, and fourth-placeers will be awarded Rs .5 lakh, Rs 1, and Rs 50,000, respectively.

Notably, the Most Valuable Player (MVP) will receive a commendable prize of Rs 1 lakh.

  • first runner-up – 2.5 lakh
  • second runner-up – 1 lakh

With this tournament, The Indus Battle Royale title is going to introduce itself to the esports community. The tournament is a promotional event for a new title so they invited some of the best BGMI/ PUBG teams to participate as the game has similar premises to PUBG.

This new title will not just be limited to mobile devices but also debut across multiple platforms, including PC, and consoles.

As an exciting prelude to its imminent release, the game has already garnered a staggering 7 million Android pre-registrations on the Google Play Store. Fans eager to gain access to the exclusive Indus Closed Beta are required to complete the pre-registration process and await the opportunity to secure a coveted beta key.
